Adult/High School-Thomas says that creating the TV show "Veronica Mars" saved both his career as a screenwriter and his soul. He had all but given up on the possibility of actually selling a teen detective story to the networks when WB bought it. This collection of essays has a mix of writing styles. From why Veronica lies to why audiences love her on-again, off-again relationship with her boyfriend, each selection serves to enhance both Thomas's thoughts on what makes good TV and to provide literary analysis.
